Newness from the legendary Roots crew’s forthcoming album Rising Down, featuring the lovely Chrisette Michelle and my fellow Nigerian-American rapper Wale. This is rumored to be the new first single - apparently they axed “Birthday Girl” ’cause the fans weren’t really feeling it. So far this album definitely sounds like it’s going to be one of their best. I absolutely loved Game Theory so I can’t wait for this one. Can’t wait to hear the new music live as well.
