I agree with Jessica, I love the song by Radiohead, one of my favourites of all time. Prince once again took a great song and made it sound like shit.

Personally, not a fan of this cover. Or of Prince for that matter. I just came to listen to it since he’s apparently trying to get all of the videos up on youtube taken down (and according to an article I read succeeded in several cases) due to “copyright violation.” Which just seems silly in all ways, as it is not his song to begin with.
Ruined? Hardly. That was epic. Weird or not, Prince is an unparalleled musician.

What’s the big deal with this guy? He’s had like 3 decent songs in how many decades? He takes SO many artistic bends with everything that is just sucks. Not to mention his over flamboyance that indicates he’s repressing the his homosexual nature.
Chill out Jessica, Creep was always just a mediocre pixies rip off… it was years until Radiohead were any good. Prince did a great cover, changed and improved the song.

Relax, guys. It’s just a cover. It seems that some people around here just think Creep is so fucking special. You wish. In the end, Prince’s Creep is just as curious and funny as Radiohead covering Carly Simon. By the way, it’s The Hollies Radiohead are ripping off in that song. Just listen to The air that I breathe.
All prince haters need to simmer down. Many stars do covers. If you don’t like it don’t look for it. I find it refreshing to hear a fresh new take on old material.

It really doesnt matter what peoples opinions on Prince are. The fact remains that this cover is really quite bad. If this wasnt Prince, it would get put down as terrible, so why one earth is everyone saying this is such a good cover. its not. Artists make mistakes, and this was a big one by prince. Prince is a good musician, but this cover is baaaad.

Really guys, what are you talking about. This cover, or I can even say this song, is so good, it’s marvellous and dragged me into tears. Prince knows how to handle a song and I can’t stop listening to this cover. Radioheads version is much more crappy. This should be an honour to Radiohead and to everyone who knows something about music.
To be honest, the song isn’t that good anyway. That’s why Radiohead de facto disowned it by not talking about it and not playing it for 3 years. Thank god they are a completely different band now =)
