“If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy – tonight is your answer.”

Here are two new joints produced by my dudes Keelay & Zaire, from their upcoming project Ridin’ High. One track features rhymes from Blu, Fortilive and vocals Nino Moshella, while the other features yours truly.
Keelay & Zaire feat. Blu, Fortilive & Nino Moshella – “The Times“
Keelay & Zaire feat. Tunji – “Addicts For Real“
I recorded this one with Keelay last winter while I was up in the bay.

Three of XXL’s draft picks spit over the classic Sam Cooke joint. Peep that and another new joint from Asher below.
Charles Hamilton, Asher Roth & B.o.B. – “Change Gon’ Come“
Asher Roth – “The Reading” (produced by Nottz)

As promised, here are some shots from the set of our video for “HipHopSoul,” which we filmed on a greenscreen near downtown LA last Sunday. The video was helmed by my good friend and hero Gregthedude, with some help from our homegirl Lauren Fisher as assistant director. We filmed at this crazy stage called ForgeLA, which is basically a huge, curved white wall that we painted bright green to shoot on. Check out some photos from the day below, and look for the video in the next few months, preceded by a behind the scenes featurette, “Making The Video” style.
Onto the photos…huge shoutouts to Nick at 3ByOne for documenting the day with his camera skills.
The old school boombox…one of our main props for the video. Shoutouts to Inka One and Rob C for hookin that up on some super last minute shit:

On a related note, we’re actually shooting another video next weekend, for the song “So Far.” That video’s actually gonna drop first, and I’ll be sure get some footage from that day for y’all as well. Let me know what you think.

Here’s a brand new mixtape from my homey Kyle Lucas out of ATL, whose band Vonnegutt just got inked to Big Boi’s Purple Ribbon Label. Don’t sleep, this kid’s got skills. I was actually supposed to be on this project, but couldn’t get my shit together to record in time, so look for me on a remix soon. Click the cover to download or here to check out some music at Kyle’s Myspace.

Got a chance to see The Knux rock last night at USC and chop it up with them for an upcoming episode of OkayplayerTV, along with Gregthedude. They came across as two very good dudes with genuine passion for their work, and their music is definitely different and dope. Check ‘em out performing their single “Bang! Bang!” below on Kimmel last week, and look for their debut album Remind Me In 3 Days…in stores now.

The homey Dizzy soliloquizes over the late, great Isaac Hayes’ CLASSIC “Ike’s Mood.” This shit is disgusting.

Since 35% of my current playlist is performing, you already know I’ll be there. In full Reggie Noble attire. Bet that.
